  1. I can't make it on Tuesday's due to late 6pm practices.How many of "The Presses" should we do before the Metcon WOD?

  2. hey guys - if you can't make the workout tonight, skip the presses. we are going to be teaching you the press series (the press, the push press and the push jerk) but no strength following it.

    if you want to get a workout in, you can do the 'metcon'. check out the 'push press demo video' on the blog for instructions and perform with dumbbells or a barbell based on your comfort with the movement. uncoached and new to this, women should use 15# db or a barbell while men can use 25# db or 65# bar.

  3. 12 rounds @ 65lbs. The anaerobic workload from the small explosive movements today was completely different from the anaerobic work load of the short sprints yesterday. I'm becoming more motivated every day to get the most out of these 20 days and to push myself so hard that I will have to be carried out every day.
